To Exchange Tickets
The Atlanta Opera will make every effort to accommodate your changing schedule with our flexible exchange policy. All exchanges are subject to availability, and seats cannot be guaranteed.
Only subscribers may exchange their tickets.
- We must receive your exchange request prior to your scheduled subscription performance; we are unable to exchange tickets for performances that have already occurred.
- If you are exchanging into a higher-priced performance or upgrading your seats to a higher-priced section, you will be charged the difference in price.
- Please include a credit card number with your exchange request. (Please note that there are no refunds for exchanging into a lower-priced seating class or performance.)
You may exchange your tickets in any of the following ways:
1. By Mail
Complete your Exchange/Donation Form (link to Exchange/Donation form) and mail it, along with your tickets, no later than one week prior to the performance, to:

2. By Fax
Fax to 404.881.1711, Attention: Ticketing Services.
Fill out the Exchange/Donation Form and write “VOID” on your tickets and make a copy of them. Faxes must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday for Tuesday performances and by 5:00 p.m. on Friday for Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances.
To Donate Tickets
If, for some reason, you are unable to use your tickets, please donate them to The Atlanta Opera so that another patron may enjoy the performance. You will receive a tax deduction equivalent to the total value of the tickets you donate.
Call the Atlanta Opera Ticketing Office at 404-881-8885 to donate your tickets. You may also donate your tickets the day of the show by calling the theatre two hours prior to the scheduled performance.
The Atlanta Opera must receive your donation at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance in order for you to receive tax credit. Ticket donations cannot be accepted after the performance date printed on the tickets. Subscribers only may donate their tickets; we cannot accept donations of single tickets.
